描述
Proteomics is the science that studies the composition and changes of proteins in cells, tissues, or organisms based on the study of proteomics. This includes research on protein expression levels, post translational modifications, and protein-protein interactions, focusing on dynamically describing gene regulation, quantitatively measuring the protein levels of gene expression, identifying the effects of diseases, drugs, and other factors on life processes, and explaining the mechanisms of gene expression regulation. Proteomics can be applied to research fields such as protein function, biomarkers, disease mechanisms, drug targets, crop development, food safety and nutrition, and the exploration of novel virus inhibitors.
